Why It’s Different
Dialysis Facilities Aren’t Ordinary Commercial Spaces
Patients spend hours in treatment chairs, often several times a week, in an environment where surface cleanliness genuinely matters. Cleaning in that setting has to account for infection-control considerations, patient turnover, sensitive equipment areas and treatment schedules that can’t be interrupted.
That’s why environmental cleaning for a dialysis facility can’t run on a generic office checklist. It needs to integrate with your facility’s own protocols — the products you’ve approved, the contact times those products require, and the division of responsibility between clinical staff and the cleaning team.

What that means in practice
- High patient turnover means high-touch surfaces need consistent, repeatable attention
- Cleaning tasks and timing are coordinated with treatment schedules, not around them
- Service quality is inspected and correctable — not assumed
Coverage
Detailed Cleaning From Waiting Room to Treatment Floor
Environmental cleaning across every part of the facility your program assigns to us — defined area by area before service begins.
Treatment Areas
Environmental surfaces on the treatment floor, cleaned to the scope and standards your facility assigns.
High-Touch Surfaces
Door handles, handrails, counters, light switches, keypads and other frequently touched points.
Waiting & Reception
The first impression your patients and their families get — kept clean, ordered and presentable.
Restrooms
Thorough cleaning and disinfection of assigned surfaces.
Staff & Break Areas
Clean, well-kept spaces that support the people who run your facility.
Floors & Common Areas
Hard-surface floor care, entrances, corridors and shared spaces throughout the building.
Trash & Waste Handling
Collection and removal of general waste within the contracted scope and your facility’s waste procedures.
Terminal & Deep Cleaning
Scheduled deep cleaning when included in the facility’s protocol and service scope.
A note on scope. Final scope is developed around each facility’s policies, manufacturer instructions, approved disinfectants, required contact times and contractual responsibilities. Our team does not clean, disinfect, service or repair dialysis machines or treatment chairs — that equipment stays with your clinical and biomedical teams. For mopping, stripping and floor refinishing, your staff disconnects and moves the machines; with your authorization, our team can move machines and chairs aside for floor care as an add-on service.
How We Work
A Cleaning Program Built Around Your Facility

Cleaning That Respects Your Infection-Control Program
Your infection-prevention program sets the rules. Our job is to deliver environmental cleaning that fits inside it — aligned with your policies, your approved products and your documentation expectations.
Surface Cleaning & Disinfection
Environmental surface cleaning and disinfection performed to the facility’s assigned scope and procedures.
High-Touch Attention
Frequently touched surfaces receive deliberate, repeatable attention on every visit.
Correct Product Use
Facility-approved disinfectants used as labeled, including manufacturer-required contact and wet times.
PPE Requirements
Personnel follow the personal protective equipment requirements defined for your site.
Clean-to-Dirty Workflows
Separation of clean and contaminated workflows where applicable to the assigned scope.
Documentation & QC
Cleaning documentation and quality-control procedures appropriate to the agreed program.
Cleaning and disinfection procedures should follow the facility’s infection-control policies, product labels and manufacturer instructions, and applicable regulatory or public-health guidance. For authoritative environmental infection-control guidance, see the CDC’s dialysis safety resources. Reference to public guidance does not imply endorsement.
The Standard
What Your Facility Should Expect From Its Cleaning Partner
Consistency
The same defined standards on every service visit — not a different result depending on who shows up.
Communication
A clear process for raising, reporting and resolving concerns — so nothing sits unaddressed.
Accountability
Inspection and quality-control processes that catch problems before you have to.
Scheduling
Service designed around your operating hours and facility access requirements.
Documentation
Cleaning documentation appropriate to the agreed program, available when you need it.
Customization
A scope developed around your facility — not a generic office-cleaning checklist with a new logo.
Quality Control
Quality You Can Verify, Not Just Take on Faith
Every program starts from a site-specific cleaning plan, so there’s a defined standard to inspect against. Supervisors check the work, deficiencies get reported and corrected through a defined workflow, and the program is reviewed with you periodically so it keeps matching how your facility actually operates.
Where cleaning logs or checklists are part of the contract, they’re maintained and available to your team.
The QA loop
- Site-specific cleaning plan — the documented standard for your facility
- Supervisor inspections — work checked against that plan
- Deficiency reporting — issues logged, not lost
- Corrective action — a defined workflow to fix and confirm
- Client communication — you hear about it from us first
- Periodic service reviews — the program evolves with your facility

FAQ
Dialysis Facility Cleaning, Answered
What is different about cleaning a dialysis facility?
Dialysis facilities combine high patient turnover, long chair times and a clinical infection-control program that governs how, when and with what surfaces are cleaned. Environmental cleaning has to fit inside that program — using the facility’s approved products, honoring required contact times, and respecting a clear division of responsibility between the cleaning team and clinical staff.
Can cleaning be scheduled around treatment hours?
Yes. Programs are scheduled around your operating hours, including evening and after-hours service, so cleaning never competes with patient care.
How is a dialysis cleaning program customized?
It starts with a facility assessment: a walkthrough to understand your layout, traffic patterns, sensitive areas and protocols. From there we develop a site-specific plan covering areas, tasks, frequencies, products and responsibilities — and we review it with you before service begins.
Do you provide cleaning documentation?
Where documentation is part of the agreed program, we maintain cleaning logs or checklists and make them available to your team. The level of documentation is defined during program setup.
Can you follow our facility-specific cleaning and disinfection protocols?
Yes — that’s the model. Your infection-control policies, approved product list and procedures define the standard; our program is built to operate within them, and assigned personnel are prepared on your site’s specific requirements.
What products are used?
Products are agreed during program setup. Many facilities require specific approved disinfectants; where that’s the case we use your approved list and apply products according to their labels, including required contact and wet times. Where your protocols allow, we can also offer eco-friendly product options.
How do you handle high-touch environmental surfaces?
High-touch points — door handles, handrails, counters, switches, keypads and similar surfaces — are identified during the assessment and built into the routine task list, so they receive consistent attention on every visit rather than ad-hoc wiping.
Can you provide service for multiple dialysis locations?
Yes. Multi-location programs use the same site-specific planning at each facility, with consistent standards and a single point of contact for the organization.
Do you offer after-hours cleaning?
Yes. After-hours and off-peak service is common for dialysis facilities and is built into the schedule during program planning.
How do we request a facility assessment?
Use the assessment request form on this page or the contact page, and we’ll arrange a walkthrough of your facility at a time that works for your operation.
